Sevylor Ottawa
The Ottawa is one of the latest designs from Sevylor which takes the I beam construction from the K2 Pointer to give real hydrodynamic structure to the hull enabling the bow and stern to be sleek and pointed to cut through the water whilst also offering good directional stability.
The Sevylor Ottawa is capable of longer expeditions and features an upgraded the seating system with lumbar supports and the new Sevy-spension system. This suspends the seats off the floor of the kayak and thus helps maintain the hull shape as well as allowing for storage underneath. In addition the seating can easily be converted from 3 to 2 enabling the boat to be used for a family or couple.
The expedition credentials are further enhanced by bungee storage on bow and stern, moulded carry handles for easy portaging which double as paddle storage when moored and a highly effective drainage system.
The Ottawa can be easily inflated by one person in not much more than 5 minutes with a foot or hand pump or for the easy life the Sevylor 12v electric pump is an option. When it comes to the end of the day it can be equally easily deflated using the boston valve system and stored in the new design Dry-N-Store carry bag. This carry bag features backpack straps making it easy to carry around and is also waterproof to protect vehicles if the kayak is packed away wet.

Sevylor Inflatable Kayak Construction
The Sevylor Ottawa is constructed from internal PVC Bladders with a combination of Polyester Canvas & Heavy-Duty 'Sevy-Strong' Tarpaulin Outer Covering. The Sevy-Strong heavy duty tarpaulin layer is found on the underhull, and runs up onto the side of some models for further protection. This tough and smooth material reduces drag, protects the bottom of the kayak from abrasion and damage as well as resisting water ingress.
